WILDCATS. Get your heads in the game, because it’s time for the start of something new – High School Musical 4.

We repeat: What we’ve been looking for since 2008, High School Musical 4, IS very much happening, and we’re about ready to scream.

Okay, we’ll stop with the dodgy HSM song puns now. Sorry.

Yep, Disney Channel have announced that another installment of East High life is coming, with the channel officially launching a nationwide casting search for the new TV movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HSM4 will revolve around ‘a new group of students at East High, as well as their crosstown rivals, the West High Knights’.

We’re loving this already.

Of course, despite the casting search, we’re still keeping our fingers, toes and everything else crossed that the original Wildcats – including Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman – will make some sort of appearance in the new installment. Please?

In a statement, Disney Channels Worldwide president and CCO Gary Marsh said: “High School Musical is part of Disney Channel’s DNA. It embodies all that we stand for.

“As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we’re excited to announce ‘the start of something new’ as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth installment of the ‘High School Musical’ franchise.”

Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2 director, Jeffrey Hornaday, will reportedly direct and choreograph the film, while Dan Berendsen (Hannah Montana: The Movie) and Peter Barsocchini (HSM 1, 2 and 3) have been recruited as screenwriters, according to THR.

Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush will be the executive producers, with Jason La Padura, Natalie Hart and Kendra Patterson serving as casting directors.

It’s safe to say we cannot wait for High School Musical 4 to arrive.

We are so delighted to announce that four-time BRIT winners and one of the world’s most successful bands Foo Fighters will perform on The BRITs stage for the first time on 21 February.

The international superstars will deliver one of their legendary live performances alongside performances from Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Stormzy and Dua Lipa.

Foo Fighters have sold more than 25 million records and sold out countless world tours. The band’s acclaimed ninth studio album ‘Concrete and Gold’ was their fourth to hit No.1 in the UK charts on release in September, topping the charts in more than a dozen countries.

BRITs Chairman & CEO and Chairman of Sony Music UK & Ireland Jason Iley said: “Anyone who was lucky enough to witness one of their shows on the recent sold out UK tour, or their set at Glastonbury – which was undoubtedly one of the best performances the festival has ever seen and a night that will be talked about forever – will know why Foo Fighters are the biggest and most exciting rock band in the world. Quite remarkably they have never performed at The BRITs, so I am over the moon to confirm a massive BRITs exclusive to have them grace our stage.”

With four BRIT Awards under their belt winning International Album in 2008 and International Group in 2008, 2012 and 2015 we can’t wait for Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee to bring the incredible Foo Fighters energy to The BRITs stage.

The nominations for the 2018 BRIT Awards will be revealed at ‘The BRITs Are Coming’ on Saturday 13 January. The show broadcast live on ITV will be hosted by Emma Willis and include live performances from Clean Bandit, J Hus, Jorja Smith, Liam Payne and Paloma Faith.

With the anticipation and excitement for the upcoming Marvel film Black Panther, in cinemas next month, seemingly rising with every passing day, CTD Tiles have launched a fantastic, fan-art inspired range ideal for those individuals who have a passion for superheroes and an array of popular culture characters.

This new Pixel Pop range allows members of several fandoms to recreate their favourite heroes, with Thor, Hulk, Yoda and Flash designs among the many available. With the help of Callum Pearson, a student from Leeds College of Building, they’ve also recreated one of the most popular designs; that of the Night Vigilante, inspired by Batman.

The full list of available characters is as follows:

●        Green Galactic Genius

●        Green Giant

●        Magical Baby Horse

●        Night Vigilante

●        Red Italian Plumber

●        Sir Superspeed

●        Space Soldier

●        Thunder Warrior

Each pack has a blueprint of the easy to follow design and contains all the tiles needed to create each superhero or fandom icon. The tiles are part of the Reflections by GEMINI tiles collection, which are ceramic and glazed to help protect against staining while giving a high-class, pristine and glossy finish to each project.

Speaking about the range, CTD team member Tracy Hildreth said:

“Fan art has become increasingly popular over the years and we believe that everyone will enjoy our whimsical take on nostalgia. We wanted to create something that would delight and excite our customer base and we believe our customers will quickly fall in love with these characters.”

The Pixel Pop range is available from the CTD website and prices start at £39.99.
