It might be hard to believe but it’s been over 15 years since Michelle Branch burst onto the music scene with her major label debut album The Spirit Room and almost 14 years since she last released solo music.

On April 7th however, the Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter will return with her fourth studio album Hopeless Romantic. The new collection of 14 songs was recorded mostly in LA and produced with the help of Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, and Gus Seyffert who has worked with Norah Jones and Sia.

In her own words, Branch sums up the album by saying that:

“A lot of these songs are about heartbreak, but knowing that it doesn’t mean the end of the world. It just means letting go and moving on and knowing that you’re going to be okay. This is my first real-life autobiographical record.”

The track-list for the album is below and UK tour dates are expected to be announced in the near future.

1.     Best You Ever
2.     You’re Good
3.     Fault Line
4.     Heartbreak Now
