It’s been announced that Syco Entertainment and Thames – part of FremantleMedia UK – are to produce a new music show for ITV.

Your Song will air in an as-yet-unannounced prime-time slot on ITV this autumn and will feature a host of music’s biggest stars. The show will celebrate the lives of real people from across the country who have done something extraordinary – and see them being given the performance of a life-time from some of their favourite artists. Your Song will be hosted by the inimitable Emma Willis, whose credits include The Voice UK and Big Brother.

Syco Entertainment and FremantleMedia are the globe’s most successful TV entertainment production partnership with credits including The X Factor and the globally successful Got Talent franchise, which is officially the most successful reality format in the world.

Your Song will be executive produced by Amelia Brown and Sally Wood and has been commissioned by Siobhan Greene, Head of Entertainment Commissioning, Broadcasting, ITV.

Emma Willis said in a statement:

“This is such an amazing show to be part of… imagine seeing somebody you love, and who is so deserving being surprised with the performance of a lifetime by their musical hero! I think there’ll be plenty of tears, hugs and happiness!”
