With wide ranging musical influences that include London Grammar and Ludovico Einaudi, a passion for performing has long since been instilled in London based singer-songwriter Bianca Bazin. Having spent several years writing and performing in various venues, winning over audiences and critics alike, the world is starting to take note of this talented young woman and she’s already earned herself support from BBC Introducing and Clash Magazine.
Bianca’s previous single “Heartbroken Fool” won her an army of fans who connected with her honest and personal lyrics, and now she’s showcasing her talents even further with the release of an acoustic version of her track “Perishing Heart.”
Asked about the meaning and story behind the track, Bianca says:
“‘Perishing Heart’ is a story of my healing journey – of looking for the light at the end of the tunnel and finding it. The concept of a ‘perishing heart’ was my attempt to understand what happens to us after we are gone and what happens to all those experiences, memories and feelings. At the start of the song I am pleading for the answers to my questions, for change and to make sense of a chaotic world with ‘light up the dark’. However, by the end I have come to accept whatever comes next, ‘Valhalla hell here I come’. For me, rising above my physical existence and looking into my own soul helped me through a very difficult time as it transformed my experience of the world and I hope to share that with others.”
