Well the rumours turned out to be true – Bruno Mars is officially joining Coldplay and Beyoncé at this weekend’s Super Bowl.
The ‘Uptown Funk’ singer posted a couple of pictures on Instagram of him rehearsing for the big event – the half-time show.
He wrote: “It ain’t a party if Mr $how Up & $how out doesn’t show up. #Confirmed #SB50 #Halftime.”
The singer also followed up the snap with another image of himself in the stadium, accompanied by the caption “Mars has landed”.
Mars headlined the event in 2014 alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Coldplay are bringing him back as a nod to some of the best half-time shows ever.
Alongside Coldplay, Beyoncé and Mars heating up the halftime show, Lady Gaga is set to kick things off with her performance of the US national anthem.
There’s been rumours Rihanna might drop by too, but that one hasn’t been confirmed yet – we’ll just have to stay tuned to the CBS broadcast on Sunday, February 7 to find out.
