The film isn’t due for national release until next month (pity the USA who have to wait until December) but that hasn’t stopped movie critics everywhere already hailing the film-festival previewed re-telling of Shakespeare’s Macbeth a triumph. Now, a newly released trailer is set to send excitement levels soaring even further.
Michael Fassbender, already receiving huge praise for his portrayal of Apple’s Steve Jobs in the biopic of the same name which is currently delighting/captivating audiences on the film festival circuit, plays the power-hungry would-be King with Marion Cotillard starring as his loving, scheming wife. Together, the pair plot and plan to get Macbeth on the throne.
If you’ve read the book or seen the play then you’ll know what happens, but for those new to the classic, the pair go to ANY lengths in order to achieve their ambition, so expect lots of violence when the film hits cinemas on October 2nd.
