Having made their hotly-anticipated return last month with a crowd-pleasing set at Glastonbury where they unveiled their new single “Brother”, Irish quartet Kodaline – singer Steve Garrigan, guitarist Mark Prendergast, bassist Jason Boland and drummer Vinny May – have announced a run of 4 UK dates in December.
“Brother” marks a new and exciting chapter in Kodaline’s story. Produced by Steve Harris and Two Inch Punch, executively produced by Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid and mixed by Spike Stent, the single has offered fans both old and new a taste of what to expect from the bands’ upcoming album and is an anthem to see all music fans right through the summer.
The new album will be Kodaline’s first full-length release since 2015’s Coming Up For Air, the follow-up to debut LP In A Perfect World which sold more than a million copies around the world. To date, the quartet have seen their music videos rack up more than 200 million views and their streaming figures are several times that number.
