This episode of ‘The Tomorrow People’ didn’t focus on a love triangle between Stephen, Cara and John, but we saw a lot of Astrid and introduced to someone from Cara’s past.
The focus was shifting a little more to trying to figure out whether or not Jedikiah or The Founder was the one actually telling the truth about wanting a better future, and actually wanting to make sure that Roger Price/Jamesson can someday live again.
For a while, we were taken in and we must give Jedikiah some credit for making a good pitch as to his intentions of trying to protect his brother from a man capable of destroying him. Then, The Founder let loose his truth regarding a very interesting question – Was Jedikiah jealous that he was never the one with powers in his family? Is there some deep-seeded emotion the real motivation for some of what he has done? With Jedikiah completely using Stephen, John and Russell for his own purposes, we’re so much more willing to side with The Founder after this week’s episode especially after the death of his daughter, Cassandra, who died after he deflected a bullet from John’s gun and went to her instead.
However, seeing the story of Cara’s sister (We never knew her name) was a nice touch, even if she was a bit whiny and also posed another question – When will Luca start to break out? Are we going to see anymore family members break out before this is over?
