Radiohead front-man Thom Yorke has announced his split from Rachel Owen, his partner of 23 years and mother of his two children.
In a statement, York, 46, said:
“Rachel and I have separated. After 23 highly creative and happy years, for various reasons we have gone our separate ways. It’s perfectly amicable and has been common knowledge for some time.”
Radiohead, once referred to as “The Beatles of the 21st century” found fame following the release of “Creep” in 1992 and are currently hard at work on their ninth album, which they began recording in January.
Yorke has also been busy with his own solo career promoting his latest release “Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes” which came out late last year.
