With a decade of industry experience behind him, during which time he’s fronted the band Recluse (late 2000’s) formed Silverbird (2013) and played bass for Lana Del Rey during the Lizzy Grant era, there’s no denying Tim Barr is very much a staple of the business.
Like any ambitious artist, over the years, Tim has continued to develop both his sound and style and has merged them into his new solo career which has seen him achieve a considerable following and plenty of support from news and media outlets. Ahead of his debut LP Sign Of The Good Times dropping on January 31st, Tim is seeing out 2019 with the release of his latest single “Crimson Kid”, which ThisIsTheLatest are delighted to premiere.
Asked about the meaning behind the song, Tim explains:
“Crimson Kid is about a desire for a secure and peaceful future. A future that is ungraspable yet free.“
