Rihanna and Justin Bieber have been announced as the headliners of this year’s V Festival.
The pop stars will perform at Hylands Park, Essex, and Weston Park in Staffordshire on 20 and 21 August.
They’ll be joined by the likes of Sia, Bastille, Little Mix, Jess Glynne and Jake Bugg for the festival’s 21st anniversary.
For the first time this year there will also be a BBC Radio 1 Summer of Dance stage on Friday 19 August.
The line-up for the dance stage will be revealed during Annie Mac’s Friday Night Radio 1 show next week.
Other artists travelling to both sites will be David Guetta, Faithless, Kaiser Chiefs, Years & Years, Rita Ora, Joe Jonas’ DNCE, Tinie Tempah, Craig David’s TS5, Katy B, Halsey, Example, All Saints, Fleur East, Soul II Soul and Lethal Bizzle.
More acts will be announced after the Brit Awards at 10pm on Wednesday with tickets on sale this Friday.
Justin Bieber starts his Purpose world tour in Seattle on 9 March with the European leg set to begin in Iceland on 8 September.
He comes to the UK with four concerts at London’s O2 Arena in October and another two at the end of November at the same venue.
Rihanna will perform at her only UK festival in Chelmsford and Weston Park.
The singer had to postpone the start of her Anti world tour, with dates at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light and Cardiff’s Principality Stadium affected so far.
She pulled out of the Grammy Awards because of illness but is due to sing at the Brits on Wednesday.
The Anti tour was supposed to begin in San Jose, California, on 26 February but will now begin on 12 March in Jacksonville, Florida.
The European leg is due to end in Belgium on 18 August.
